Two people have fallen into the handcuffs of the Kavaja police after robbing 7 apartments during the last three months.
It is learned that the arrested are the citizens Shkëlqim Çopa, 20 years old, and Alfred Përshaku, 29 years old. In cooperation with each other, it is suspected that they have stolen electrical equipment, furniture and work tools.
1 box with mechanical keys, scissors, screwdrivers, 2 mobile phones and 2 motorcycles with which these citizens moved were seized from the young people.
"The coded police operation "Seven" is finalized, for the clarification of 7 thefts in apartments, committed during the last 3 months.
2 citizens, accomplices for committing these thefts, were identified, caught and put in handcuffs.
Some equipment and items that served to carry out this criminal activity, 2 mobile phones and 2 motorcycles, which these citizens used to travel with, were seized.
Specialists of the Section for the Investigation of Crimes of the Kavaja Police Station, as a result of the real investigative and operational work, carried out immediately after the complaints received from the citizens, for various cases of thefts in apartments, have organized and finalized the coded police operation " Seven".
In the framework of this operation, 7 cases of thefts, committed in Kavaja, during the period April-June 2023, were revealed, as well as their 2 suspected perpetrators were identified, caught and arrested, specifically citizens Sh. Ç., 20 years old and AP, 29 years old, both residents of Golem.
From the investigative actions, it is suspected that these citizens, in cooperation with each other, stole electrical equipment, furniture and work tools from 7 different apartments in the city of Kavaja.
As material evidence, 1 box with mechanical keys, scissors, screwdrivers, 2 mobile phones and 2 motorcycles that these citizens used to drive were seized.
Investigative actions continue for the disclosure and documentation of other thefts that may have been committed by the citizens of Sh. Ç. and AP
The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of the General Jurisdiction of Durrës, for further actions", the police informs.
