A robbery with threats was recorded this afternoon on the Tirana-Elbasan road, where a person threatened a taxi driver with a cutting tool and took a sum of money and a pendant.
The incident occurred around 2:30 p.m. The suspect, who was traveling as a passenger in a taxi.
After receiving the notification, the Police services immediately organized actions to identify and capture the suspected perpetrator. Thanks to the rapid response, he was located and neutralized within a short time, and was then escorted to the Police premises for the performance of procedural actions.
In the official announcement, the police announced that investigations are ongoing to fully document the incident and clarify all circumstances. It is also expected that at the conclusion of the procedural actions, more detailed information will be provided on the identity of the suspected perpetrator and the legal measures that will be taken against him.
