Klement Çala was sentenced to 20 years in prison. For the other 6, Oltion Veseli, Renaldo Sulaj, Saimir Cela, Oltion Pikli and Alkon Bengasi and Eldi Çala, the GJKKO has given 17 years in prison for each. While Talo Çela, who is wanted in this case, has been sentenced to 19 years in prison.
How did the incident happen?
The Rinas robbery took place on April 9, 2019. On the runway of the "Mother Teresa" airport, masked individuals, at gunpoint, stole a significant amount of cash that was being loaded onto the plane. During the police pursuit and after the exchange of fire, the main organizer of the robbery, Admir Murataj, was killed.
