The court of Fier has left in prison the author of the double murder in Kurjan i Roskovec, Altin Kukaj, and his three associates, Ervis Kukaj, Emauris Kukaj and Tomori Zykaj.
The session was held under strict security measures by the police, while family members of the accusing party stayed outside the court building at a distance.
Altin Kukaj, together with his sons, Ervis and Emauris Kukaj, all three residents of Fier, allegedly in cooperation with each other, killed two citizens Lavdrim Kurtaj, 46 years old and Gramoz Kurtaj, 52 years old, with automatic firearms. for weak motives, three days ago in the village of Kurjan in Roskovec.
The two Kurtaj brothers were shot dead after a conflict with one of the author's sons. Initially, Altin Kuka was arrested for the murder of brothers Gramos and Lavdimir Kurtaj, but investigations revealed that he did not act alone in the crime.
Officially, the police said that accomplices in the murder, the 49-year-old, had his two sons, Ervis and Emaurisio Kuka. During the escape attempt, the police also found a pistol on the latter.
Sources from the investigation group said that only cartridges from the machine gun that Altin Kuka handed over when he went to the police station after the crime were found at the scene.
The weapon used in the crime will be subjected to expertise and it will become clear who killed the Kurtaj brothers, even though 49-year-old Altin Kuka took responsibility for the murder.
