A 58-year-old man was found dead in his apartment in the '13 Shtatori' neighborhood in the city of Berat. The victim, who was found hanging in one of the rooms of the house, was found by his wife, who notified the police.
The victim has been identified as citizen YR, while no signs of violence were found on the deceased's body, reinforcing suspicions that it was a suicide.
At the scene, according to reports, police found a letter left by the victim, in which he apologized to his wife and explained his serious psychological condition.
He stated that, due to the worsening of his illness and the risk of complete paralysis, he did not want to become a burden on his family.
