A building in the Radhima area was engulfed in flames this afternoon, following an electrical spark that occurred inside the elevator.
The fire broke out in the entrance areas of the building, causing thick smoke and panic among residents. As a result, the building's entrances and exits were blocked due to the spread of smoke and flames.
Firefighters and law enforcement agencies are currently at the scene and are working to neutralize the fire and evacuate residents.
Authorities are investigating the full cause of the fire, while residents have been advised to remain calm and follow emergency instructions.
"Around 14:05, a fire is suspected to have broken out in a building in Radhima. Immediately, the fire brigade and police services intervened to evacuate the residents, and so far only material damage has been reported," the police announced.
