The license plates of the "Golf 5" vehicle used in the assassination of "Don Bosco" on September 3 identified Denis Tahir, the 23-year-old from Kamza who was wanted by the police as the suspected perpetrator of the two injured persons, Kastriot Elezaj, 45 years old, and Renaldo Metushi, 22 years old.
Tirana Police investigators first discovered who the overlapping license plates belonged to and after interrogating the owner of the car in Valias, it turned out that he had rented it to Denis Tahir.
The investigation showed that the latter had rented the car a few days ago and had put the license plates on the "Golf 5" type vehicle that the perpetrators burned after the crime.
Likewise, his fingerprints have helped to strengthen the police's suspicions, as they were compared with those found in the vehicle.
It is suspected that the 23-year-old is inside the Albanian territory, but it has not yet been possible to arrest him.
