Involved in the murder of ex-policeman Roland Rexhepi, Florind Shabani is sentenced to 12 years in prison

The court of Elbasan has sentenced Florind Shaban to 12 years in prison, who is accused of murdering ex-policeman Roland Rexhepi in Elbasan.

Florind Shabani, known as "Paçuku", the third man arrested and sent to trial for the murder of the former narcotics agent in the police of Elbasan, Roland Rexhepit alias "Doda", has maintained a denial about the incident, raising an alibi before the investigation team.

In 2009, the Police of Elbasan identified two of the perpetrators participating in this crime.

Armand Llakaj and Marjus Tafaj, were arrested earlier in 2009 and sentenced in 2012 by the court of Elbasan, respectively, to 25 and 23 years of imprisonment and currently continue to remain in prison.

While Florind Shabani alias "Paçuku", was located and arrested for the first time in 2021 in the "Augsburg-Gabligen" prison in Germany, where he was serving a sentence for the charge of "Committing sexual intercourse with violence".
