A 34-year-old man from Lushnja has been arrested by police in Fier after being declared an international wanted person. It is reported that 34-year-old Klaus Muça was transporting narcotics on behalf of criminal groups.
It is learned that the Milan Court had imposed the security measure "prison arrest" on him for the criminal offense of "Participation in a criminal group, with the aim of trafficking narcotics."
It is expected that Klaus Muça will be extradited to Italy to face justice.
"A citizen for criminal activity in the field of narcotics was captured by the services of the Fier DVP Operational Force during the police operation codenamed "Transporter" and arrested for extradition to Italy.
As a result of intensive police actions, carried out with the aim of capturing wanted citizens, as well as based on information provided by police intelligence on the location of a citizen internationally wanted, on behalf of Italy, the Special Operational Force services, in cooperation with the Narcotics Investigation Section of the Fier Police Department, organized and finalized the police operation codenamed "Transporter".
During the operation, the internationally wanted citizen KM, 34 years old, resident of Lushnja, was located, captured and provisionally arrested, to be extradited to Italy.
The Milan Court has assigned this citizen the security measure of "Arrest with imprisonment", for the criminal offense of "Participation in a criminal group, with the aim of trafficking narcotics", provided for by the Italian Criminal Code.
"The 34-year-old had the role of a narcotics transporter on behalf of criminal groups. Interpol Tirana and Interpol Rome are cooperating to extradite this citizen to Italy," the police announced.
