The people you see in the photo are 74-year-old Hekuran Gjoni and 37-year-old Asim Gjoni. The latter was stabbed to death by his 74-year-old father.
The incident took place in the 'Kodra e Prifti' area on the outskirts and it is suspected that the son was mocking his father, until the latter then took the knife and shot his son.
The boy died in hospital after failing to resist the injuries he sustained.
From the evidence collected by the police, it is learned that there were no previous conflicts between the father and son, which seems to indicate that the cause of the serious incident was a momentary quarrel, perhaps caused by the state of both father and son, due to the alcohol they had consumed.
Reports indicate that the boy started joking with his father, who apparently lost patience and took out a knife, stabbing the boy in front of other family members. It was the latter who took the 37-year-old and transported him to the hospital, where he died, and the police were notified.
Asim Gjoni was a father of two children and, as can be seen from the photos, he was a soldier.
