A 25-year-old wanted by Italian authorities was arrested in Lezha as part of the operation codenamed "Terni". The young man, identified as Sergio Nikolli, has been wanted by Italian justice as a suspect for involvement in a criminal organization that dealt with narcotics trafficking.
"The services of the Police Commissariat, in cooperation with the services of the "Eagle" Special Force, during the operation codenamed "Terni", have captured in the city of Lezha and arrested with the aim of extradition, citizen SN, 25 years old, (Serxho Nikolli), resident of Shenkoll", the official announcement states.
Interpol Tirana and Interpol Rome will carry out the procedures for the extradition of this citizen to Italy, the official announcement states.
The Terni Court accuses the 25-year-old of the criminal offenses of "criminal organization" and "drug trafficking", provided for by the Italian Criminal Code.
