Details of the explosion with explosives in Tirana have been revealed. It is learned that explosives were placed in the vehicle of citizen Matilda Kraja, which was in the parking lot of a hospital.
It is learned that Matilda Kaja works as a doctor in a private hospital on "Pjetër Budi" street in Tirana. In her testimony before the Judicial Police officers, she stated that "she has no conflicts with anyone and that the TNT may have been for the hospital and not for her personally."
The incident occurred at around 03:55 this morning and resulted in only material damage.
"Around 03:55, on 01.05.2025, on "Pjetër Budi" street, it is suspected that in the parking lot near a hospital, a small amount of suspected explosive material was placed in the front tire of the vehicle owned by citizen MK. As a result, there is only material damage. The investigation group is working to identify and capture the perpetrator(s) as well as clarify the circumstances of the case," the police announced.
