A police operation in August 2023, arrested several people who had created a network for the trafficking of narcotics abroad, where they exchanged cocaine for cannabis in the Adriatic Sea.
It was Gëzim Çela and his group, assisted by the chief of the Kurbini police station, Dritan Metaj, who trafficked cannabis from the Fushë Kuqe area towards the Adriatic Sea, where he exchanged cannabis for cocaine in a boat.
A few days ago, three other members of this gang, Alket Deda, Xenofon Bodo, Selami Lushkaj, were also arrested.
But what was their role and how was the communication developed between them for the provision of narcotics? TCH has provided the investigative file, in which telephone conversations and messages between the aforementioned and other members of the group are described.
Excerpts from the file:
From the information forwarded by the Telephone Company, it appears that it is registered in the name of the citizen Xenofon Bodo, born on September 20, 1982. In these circumstances, the suspicion has arisen that "Foni Orikum" and "Ffffon" are the same person, that is, the citizen Xenofon Bodo.
From the examination of the photo of the citizen Xenofon Bodo, born on September 20, 1982, in the NCR system, it appears that his features are the same or similar to the person in question, who also appears in the photo that Arlind Ismajlukaj sent to him on the 22 May 2023 to his collaborator, citizen Armando Mema.
As above, it turns out that a part of the narcotic substance, of the "cannabis sativa" type of plant that was to be trafficked on the night of August 14, 2023 by the person under investigation Arlind Ismajlukaj, was provided by citizens Xenofon Bodo and citizen Selami Lushkaj. The latter, in addition to the amount of narcotics provided by him, first stored and then packed the narcotics provided by Xenofon Bodo, and then transported the entire amount to Mamurras.
II.II. From the examination of telephone messages exchanged on the social network "Signal" registered under the name "Karadayi", which belongs to the citizen Arlind Ismajlukaj, which turned out to be used by the citizen Xenofon Bodo, it results that on June 27, 2023, in the time frame 23 :09:50 to 23:28:46, conversation in which Foni informs Arlind that he has 52.5 kg of the good one, among other things at 23:14:27 Xenophon informs Arlind that he is running away to Tani, meanwhile that Arlindi asks "to my Tani".
From the conversation, it appears that Arlindi has just returned from Kosovo, while Tani appears to be a close or trusted person with Arlindi.
In these circumstances, a search was made in the data obtained from the act of technical computer expertise of the phone of the person under investigation Arlind Ismajlukaj, for the conversations made in the social networks installed with the persons registered with the names "Tan", "Dritan" and "Artan". From the investigation in question, it appears that on the "Iphone" 14 Pro Max type phone, on one of the phones (not the phone where most of the above-mentioned conversations about narcotics are) there is registered the phone number ...., registered under the name "Now hungover".
From the data obtained from the information forwarded by the Telephone Company, it appears that this telephone number is registered in the name of the citizen Alket Deda.
From the minutes of the inspection of the NCR system, it appears that it belongs to the citizen Alket Stak Deda, born February 22, 1987. This citizen has changed his name from "Dritan" to "Alket".
From looking at the conversations on August 14, 2023 from 19:53:43 to 22:31:51, it appears that they are discussing the departure time.
Arlindi informs the interlocutor that he will be the one to determine the time when the interlocutor will leave and determine the meeting place, but it will be around 10:30 11:00, which means around 22:00: 30 - 23:00.
At 21:09:13, Arlindi writes to the interlocutor again, telling him to get ready and leave in 25 minutes.
At 21:23:15, the interlocutor "kuzgun887" writes to Arlind, telling him that he is ready, but to see the road near Bled's house.
Arlindi confirms that he is there and in order to be reliable, he takes a photo of the road, from inside his vehicle, which is apparently prohibited. While the interlocutor tells him that he is leaving.
The conversation shows that after the interlocutor "kuzgun887" tells Arlindi that he is seeing that he has reached the meeting place, addressing him with the words "...walk, walk because I am", Arlindi expresses his concern that he does not have gloves (so gloves so as not to leave fingerprints during the boarding of the narcotics on the vessel). Kuzguni assures him that he took them.
