In two different operations, the State Police made it possible to arrest two members of a criminal group that was engaged in criminal activity in the field of selling and trafficking large amounts of heroin and cocaine.
In Tirana, Dritan Idrizi (alias Dritan Xhepexhiu) was arrested, while in Përmet, 40-year-old Elion Bejo was arrested. The two persons were announced as international wanted, with the security measure "Arrest in prison", by the Court of Brescia.
"In Tirana, as part of the "Alias" operation, citizen DI alias D. Xh., 37 years old, was captured and imprisoned. The Court of Brescia has assigned the 37-year-old the security measure "Arrest in prison", as it is accused that during the period 01.10.2019-31.01.2020, in cooperation with other citizens, he trafficked large quantities of the narcotic substance cocaine, mainly in the cities of Bergamo and Brescia. In Përmet, as part of the "The Zone" operation, citizen EB, 40 years old, was captured and imprisoned. The Court of Brescia has assigned the 40-year-old the security measure "Arrest in prison", as he is accused that during the period 07.10.2019-26.10.2019, in cooperation with other citizens, he sold narcotics heroin and cocaine, in doses, worth about 17,000 euros."
Their arrest was made with the purpose of extradition to Italy and the procedures will start soon in cooperation with Interpol.
