Tirana police will now have the help of their Kosovo counterparts to find the body of Eglantin Koçi. With the help of sophisticated equipment, Kosovo counterparts will provide their assistance in the searches in the outskirts of Tirana.

After Krraba, Elbasan and Librazhd, searches have focused on the Qafëmolla area and Pëllumbas, areas that are suspected to be well-known and frequently frequented by the perpetrator, 41-year-old Armand Shakaj.

Police sources tell A2 CNN that there are suspicions that his car was seen in the Pëllumbas area after the incident. Shakaj was identified at the beginning of the denunciation by Eglant Koç's family and is one of the first people questioned by the police.

After checking the phone records, it turned out that the last person Koçi had called was Shakaj. For this reason, he was summoned and questioned by police station no. 2, where he stated that he had no knowledge and that he himself was worried that Koçi had lost track.

It is learned that when he left the police station after the interrogation, he encountered Eglant Koç's family and relatives, where he told them that he was also worried and that when they found him, they should tell him to call them.

The police kept Shakaj under surveillance even after the interrogation, but he disappeared and disappeared. The police called him to appear again for testimony, but he lied, stating that he was in the hospital.

After intensive investigations and analysis of many security cameras, a day later it was confirmed that Shakaj had kidnapped his friend Eglant Koçi. According to the TIMS system, Shakaj has not left the country and may be hiding in Tirana.
