After missile attacks, Israel warns Iran: We will respond unconditionally!

Israel has repeated its warning to Iran, making it clear that any attack will receive an immediate response from Tel Aviv.

Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz declared that "if Iran attacks Israel, Israel will respond and retaliate without any dependencies or conditions."

The same was said by the Chief of Staff of the Israel Defense Forces (IDF), Eyal Kamir, who said that the Israeli army is "prepared to resume fighting immediately and will act with great determination against anyone who harms us."

The statements come after Iran fired missiles at the Jordanian city of Aqaba, near the border with Israel. According to Jordanian authorities, air defenses shot down three missiles, while another fell in a distant area. Later, the IDF confirmed that Israeli air defense systems also participated in neutralizing some of the missiles.

Meanwhile, American media reports that, although the conflict was sparked by a joint US-Israeli operation in February, the US administration does not want broader Israeli involvement in the current phase of escalation.

Two Israeli sources stated that Washington aims to avoid losing control over the conflict, while a US official disputed this interpretation, stating that the US "remains in close coordination with our Israeli partners."

According to an Israeli military official, the United States has also reinforced its military presence in the region, adding to its fleet of tanker aircraft to refuel Israel, as part of the repositioning of American forces.
