
The Durrës Police has finalized the coded operation "Free Beach", for the release of spaces on the coastline in the area of Porto Romano.
As a result, 4 administrators of entities that had occupied the public space with deckchairs and umbrellas, placed without the relevant permit, were prosecuted, as well as 836 deckchairs and umbrellas were seized.
" As a result of checks and verifications carried out in cooperation with the Municipal Police of Durrës, the public space on the coastline of Porto Romano was released, as well as the removal and seizure of 836 sunbeds and umbrellas that were placed without the relevant permit.
Following of the procedural actions for these cases, the materials were referred to the Prosecutor's Office, where the proceedings began in a state of freedom for the citizens:
-AZ, 43 years old, after having placed 88 sunbeds and 16 umbrellas, without the relevant permit;
- FE, 47 years old, after having placed 152 sunbeds and 66 umbrellas, without the relevant permit;
- Ms. B., 55 years old, after having placed 40 sunbeds and 20 umbrellas, without the relevant permit;
- LB, 53 years old, after having placed 300 sunbeds and 150 umbrellas, without the relevant permit.
The "Free Beach" operational plan follows." - announced the police.
