It is suspected that the author of the robbery of the currency exchange point in Astir, Tirana is a 35-year-old man.
It is learned that the author was wearing a hat and an anti-Covid mask where he offered and at gunpoint received an amount of 40,000 euros from the workers.
According to the police, the author fled on foot and then on a bicycle.
In order to identify him, the police have seized some security cameras, which show the moment when the employee entered the premises of this exchange point, then walking and then leaving on a bicycle.
"On 24.06.2023, around 08:25, on "Tom Plezha" street in New Ring, an unidentified person, who was carrying a suspected firearm, entered a money transfer point and foreign exchange, took a sum of money and left on a bicycle," the police report said.
