A serious incident has been recorded in Korça, where a 48-year-old man is suspected of having ended his life by hanging himself in his apartment.
The victim has been identified as Dashamir Meçe, who according to sources was living alone after a divorce. It is initially suspected that the 48-year-old's serious psychological condition may have led him to commit the fatal act.
Family members were unable to contact the 48-year-old during the day and notified the police. The police went to the apartment, broke open the door, and found the person hanging in the room.
The body has been sent to the morgue for forensic examination, while police are at the scene and investigating the full circumstances of the incident.
