
Edmir Frroku, former European Champion in Arm Wrestling and President of the Arm Wrestling Federation in Albania, is wanted by the Shkodra police for the murder of two brothers-in-law, Ersild Ishmi and Arsid Hoxha. This tragic incident happened in the premises of the "Holiday" hotel in Velipoja, which is owned by the Frroku brothers.
The incident happened after a previous conflict between two families. On June 28, 2024, an argument at the hotel of the two Frroku brothers, where Ersild Ishmi had gone to eat, had escalated into a fight. Ismi, who was armed at the time and had threatened the hotel's chef, was later arrested. Meanwhile, on the evening of August 19, Ishmi had gone with his brother-in-law Arsid Hoxha to the hotel to clarify the previous conflict.
Around 21:00, a fight broke out between two Frroku brothers and two brothers-in-law. In this fight, the Frroku brothers fired a gun, leaving Hoxha and Ishmi seriously wounded, who died in the operating room at the hospital in Shkodra. Ismi was hit by 3 bullets in the chest and abdomen, while Hoxha received 2 bullets in these parts of the body.
The police of Shkodra are committed to finding Edmir Frroku and his brother Gëzim Frroku, who have been declared wanted. They have called for self-surrender and have contacted their family members to help capture them. In an effort to avoid the worsening of the situation, the police have increased controls in the area.
In an attempt to investigate this event, two hotel employees, Zyber Zagrad and Marjo Pali, were arrested. Zagrad, a waiter who was also accidentally injured during the incident, and Pali are under investigation, although their role in the incident has not yet been fully clarified./ Gazeta Shqip
