An accident occurred two days ago in Corso Cavour in Cremona, Italy, where a 73-year-old woman was seriously injured as a result. The accident happened in the city center, when the elderly woman was crossing the white lines.
The woman of Albanian origin had suffered a very serious head injury. When help arrived, her condition seemed critical but not desperate, however, once she arrived at the Maggiore hospital, doctors discovered a very severe hemorrhage in her brain and underwent surgery, unfortunately in vain.
The dynamics of the accident, still undiscovered, have been investigated by local police officers.
According to initial reconstructions, the elderly woman was in a pedestrian crossing when she was hit. The possible charge, in similar cases, is that of manslaughter.
