A car burst into flames at noon today in the neck of Kala in the city of Berat.
The vehicle, type 'Peugeote', with license plate AA 381 AB, rented by some tourists, burst into flames in its front part.
Fortunately, the 4 passengers who were inside the vehicle managed to get out in time, without getting injured, while only material damage was reported.
A technical defect in the battery or motor and due to high temperatures is suspected in advance.
After receiving the information, the fire brigade of Berat arrived at the scene, making it possible to extinguish the flames, while this situation created chaos for about 30 minutes among the residents of the area and among foreign tourists, since the area where the event took place is one of the most visited attractions in the city of Berat.
