What happened on October 30 in Shkodër?
Hamza Lici, 23 years old, Arlind Bushati, 32 years old, and Flutura Basha were killed after a well-organized mafia assassination, which was registered in the Dobraç area. Bashkim Basha, Flutura's contemporary, was injured and taken to the hospital in serious condition, where he died a few days later.
It is suspected that 4 perpetrators participated in the assassination. In the "Land Rover" type car that was found burned in the village of Golem, only 5 kilometers from the site of the assassination, according to police sources, there were 3 people, the driver and two shooters who fired Kalashnikov bursts. While the fourth person waited for them in the area where the vehicle was burned, helping them to leave.
Not only that, but the investigative team has strong suspicions that the perpetrators are contract killers from Montenegro, at a young age. The vehicle with which the victims were moving turns out to have entered our country from Montenegro, while during this time it made numerous movements in the area of Dobrač.
Investigators seized more than 35 shell casings at the scene. Investigators are analyzing security cameras, but difficulties are being encountered since there are not many cameras in the area, or even those that are do not have a server to store footage. Some of them are coded and taken for examination in the laboratory.
Over 20 people were escorted to the Shkodra police station for the serious incident, including Safet Bajri and other family members. The latter stayed for about 2 hours in the police station and it is learned that he denied having anything to do with the assassination, stating that he was in the apartment with his family. According to him, the house is monitored by cameras and proves such a fact.
Until now, the main track where the investigators have focused is that of revenge due to the long conflict between the Lici and Bajri families. Hamza Lici is the brother of Ibrahim Lici, one of the most wanted persons of Albanian justice.
