The Greek police have handcuffed Eduart Danaj, who allegedly killed his wife with a knife in the middle of Athens.
The 40-year-old Albanian woman was found dead in the early hours of the morning in the Menidhi area of Athens, with a knife in her stomach and covered in blood.
It is suspected that the motive for the murder was the ongoing conflict in the family which started in 2013, for the first time when Enkelejda denounced her husband for domestic violence.

He was given an order for forensic expertise and was given information, instructions and the necessary assistance from the competent bodies. In addition, she was informed about the possibility of installing the "Panic Button" application on her mobile phone and was given a code to access the said application. She was informed about the possibility of being transferred to a host facility and stated that she did not want to. All three times the author was arrested and the third time the prosecutor let him go.
