A 48-year-old man was arrested in Korça, after keeping 22 kg of cannabis in his apartment with the intention of selling it. As part of the "Big Circles" operation, Florand Xhabey was arrested.

The 48-year-old man was arrested for possessing narcotics in the apartment with the intention of selling them.
22 kg of suspected narcotic substance cannabis sativa, 1 vehicle and 1 mobile phone were seized.
Specialists of the Narcotics Investigation Section of DVP Korçë, in the wake of successive operations to crack down on the criminal activity of selling narcotics, organized and finalized the police operation coded "Big Circles", as a result of which a citizen was arrested red-handed :
-F. Xh., 48 years old, resident in the village of Vashtemi, Korçë.
Based on the information provided by the police intelligence, this citizen was engaged in the illegal activity of producing and selling narcotics, the Police services organized the work in order to locate him. During the search of his apartment, in the village of Vashtemi, 22 kg of suspected narcotic substance cannabis sativa, divided into packages, were found. The amount of narcotics along with 1 vehicle and 1 mobile phone were seized as material evidence.
In cooperation with the Prosecutor's Office, investigations are continuing for the complete documentation of this case and for bringing forward the legal responsibility of other citizens implicated in this criminal activity.
The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of the Korçë General Jurisdiction, for further actions", the Police announcement states.
