The Tirana police have arrested two people who were carrying weapons and seized two pistols. Edevaldo Haxhiu and Azemvllasi Elezi have fallen in handcuffs.
"The services of the Special Force Sector "Shqiponja", on "Frang Bardhi" street, have stopped the vehicle driven by citizen EH, 39 years old, a resident of Tirana. During the physical and vehicle control, the Police services found the 39-year-old man, a firearm, a pistol with a comb and combat ammunition, and a quantity of the suspected narcotic substance cocaine;
Services of Police Station No. 7, in Marqinet, they stopped for inspection the vehicle with the driver, citizen MM, and passenger, citizen AE, 34 years old. The passenger, at the time of the arrest, did not obey the orders of the police officers, but tried to leave and during the attempt to leave, he threw a pistol on the ground.
The two firearms with combs and combat ammunition, together with the suspected narcotic substance cocaine, were seized as material evidence.
Following the actions, citizens EH, 39 years old, resident of Tirana, and AE, 34 years old, resident of Vorë, were arrested, and the procedural materials were handed over to the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of the General Jurisdiction of Tirana, for further actions ", says the police announcement.
