The National Court of Spain has decided to extradite to Albania the much-wanted Lulzim Berisha by the Albanian authorities.
The National Court of Spain has accepted the request of the Spanish Prosecutor's Office for extradition. The decision was made in the last few days, after the first trial that took place on July 2.
Lulzim Berisha, who is represented by two Spanish lawyers, asked the Court about a month ago not to surrender to Albania, where according to him his life is in danger in our country and he is afraid of a revenge.
According to the Spanish Prosecutor's Office, Lulzim Berisha's life is at risk only outside of prison, and by handing over Lulzim Berisha to the Albanian authorities, he will not be in danger.
Lulzim Berisha has the right to appeal the decision of the National Court to the Supreme Court of Spain.
