Three Albanians have been arrested by the Spanish police after they were caught cultivating narcotics.
It has become possible to seize a plantation with 4000 cannabis plants inside an industrial building in Tarragona.
The arrested were between the ages of 20 and 24. The Spanish police say that the three young men have been staying in the building since March, in order not to attract the attention of the residents. It was also discovered that they had dug a tunnel about 80 meters long.
The Albanians had made sure that the smell of marijuana did not spread outside the apartment where the narcotic substance was cultivated.
According to the authorities, it took about two months of investigation to discover that in this building there was a cannabis plantation controlled by the Albanian mafia.
Experts say that the investment in the structure of this plantation would reach over 200 thousand euros.
It is expected that other people involved in the criminal gang behind this case will be arrested.
