3 people have been detained by the police and the Prison Service, after they allegedly took 28,000 euros from a Czech citizen through fraud.
It is learned that the following citizens have been detained: MB, born and resident in Cërrik, date of birth 18.01.1982, accused of the criminal offense "Fraud" provided by article 143 paragraph 3 of the Criminal Code; EF, born and resident in Cërrik, born on 31.07.1988, accused of the criminal offense "Fraud" provided for by article 143 paragraph 3 of the Criminal Code, currently detained in IEVP Peqin for the same criminal offense.
The coercive measure "ban on leaving the country" has also been set, in charge of the citizen;
AF, born and resident in Cërrik, born on 05.01.1990, accused of the criminal offense "Fraud" provided by article 143 paragraph 3 of the Criminal Code
From the procedural actions carried out under the direction of the Prosecution at the Court of First Instance of General Jurisdiction Elbasan, on the basis of the accusatory material of the Czech citizen VR sent by SHKBB, has registered criminal proceedings no. 630 of 2023, since the above citizens through fraud in cooperation with each other have received the amount of 28,000 euros divided in the time interval of 4 months. Due to the quick investigative actions and documented at the right time by the Internal Control Service in the Prison System, it became possible to seize the amount of 13,540 euros in CASH.
The materials were passed to the Prosecution at the Court of First Instance of Elbasan General Jurisdiction for further action.
