A serious incident has shaken the city of Durrës in the early hours of this Wednesday morning, October 22, where two people were killed by gunfire. The incident occurred at around 01:45, near a gas station in the Manza area. The victims are two young men, Aranit Kurti, 23, and Flori Paluçi, 33.
It is suspected that the two people who were killed in Durrës had a conflict over trivial reasons.
The fight between them started in a bar in Manëz.
A conflict with the bar's waiter on one side prompted a reaction from the other. That was enough to start the conflict, which escalated to the use of a weapon.
"Around 01:45 on 22.10.2025, in Manëz, near a gas station, after a conflict suspected of being for weak motives, citizens AK, 23 years old, and FP, 33 years old, both residents of Manëz, were killed with firearms," the blue uniforms said in a statement.
Initial investigations conducted by the special investigation team suggest that FP was killed by citizen DP, 21 years old, while AK is suspected of being shot by FP himself during the collision.
The Police Services have announced that they are conducting intensive searches in the area to capture the suspect with the initials DP, who has been declared wanted. Meanwhile, a special investigative group is continuing to work at the scene to fully clarify the circumstances of the incident, to identify any other possible person involved and to administer evidence that will lead to the legal documentation of the case.
