The Greek police, after a month-long investigation, discovered a criminal group that threatened and robbed various people, including Albanians.
Members drove around in 'Porsche Cayenne' and 'Beverly', as well as taking over the rape of businessmen for third parties. The "brain" of the group, together with 4 other members, allegedly sent a businessman to resuscitation after being ordered by some policemen to rape him, as he owed him money, reports 'Protothema'.
So far, 7 members of the criminal organization have been arrested, among them the 36-year-old Greek, the "vice president", the 40-year-old Greek, 2 Iraqis and 3 Albanians, while 3 other citizens who have not yet been identified.
All of them are known to the authorities, with a serious criminal past, while the 36-year-old leader of the group has been involved in drug cases as well as a bloody shooting incident in 2022 outside a bakery in the Vula area .
As revealed by the Extortion Department's investigation, the group had been operating since May 2022 and its members were threatening restaurant owners to sell them protection, while beating up businessmen on the orders of third parties.
The criminal organization had spread its "tentacles" in the areas of Ilioupoli, Argyroupoli, Agios Dimitrios, Dafni, Alimos, Glyfada, Byron, Pagratio and Kerameikos. At the same time, criminals controlled gambling clubs in Piraeus and central Athens.
The people are muscular and boxer-like and usually wear black clothes whenever they approach their victims. They were driving around in a black Porsche Cayenne, driven by the driver and the rest of her members on 'Beverly' scooters.
They moved in military formation to cause terror while covering the license plates of their vehicles to avoid recognition. After each "hit" they took care to destroy the security cameras of the stores so that their movements were not recorded, while it is suspected that they had contact with the Police to understand if they were being watched.
In every store that they "posted" they put a "guard", as they called him, who took it upon himself to put an end to the fights.

There he threatened the owner that if he did not give him 200 euros per month for protection, he would pay dearly, saying that "Argyroupoli is mine"...
