A 32-year-old man has been extradited from Greece after being wanted by Albanian authorities.
It is learned that 32-year-old Ardit Miha was internationally wanted after being sentenced to prison by the Durrës court.
Mihaj is accused of intentional serious injury, an event that occurred in 2024 in the "Plazh" neighborhood of Durrës.
"The 32-year-old man who injured a citizen several times with a cutting tool (knife) during a conflict for weak motives in the "Plazh" neighborhood, Durrës, is being extradited from Greece."
As a result of the coordination of operational actions between specialists from the Interpol Directorate and their counterparts in Athens, the procedure for the extradition from Greece to Albania of citizen AM, 32 years old, born in Bulqiza, was finalized following the international operation codenamed "The Wanted".
The 32-year-old was wanted internationally, because in 2024, the Durrës Court assigned him the security measure "Arrest in prison" for the criminal offense of "Intentional serious injury".
Citizen AM is accused of having, on the evening of 06.10.2022, for weak motives, wounded citizen BF several times with a cutting tool (knife), in neighborhood no. 13, Durrës," the police announced.
