An Ohio child playing with a gun he allegedly found in his parents' nightstand accidentally shot and killed his eight-month-old pregnant mother. Foreign media report that the 2-year-old shot his mother in the back with a pistol.
It is learned that it was the 33-year-old woman who called the emergency and explained that she was accidentally shot by her 2-year-old son and that she was 33 weeks pregnant.
Unfortunately, despite the immediate intervention of the rescue teams, the young woman died in the hospital, while the doctors did not even manage to save the fetus she was carrying.
Police found a 9 mm handgun placed on a nightstand in the room as well as two other loaded guns. The victim's husband, who was away from home at the time of the incident, told the police that the weapons belonged to him.
