Four policemen have been arrested by AMP in connection with the Shkodra massacre with 4 killed.
Officers Marte Martini, Julian Sterkaj, Blerim Kurmekaj and Viktor Logu have been taken into custody.
They are accused of "Misuse of duty" in relation to the assassination of October 30. Their arrest was carried out in the early hours of the morning.
Specifically, they are accused of not stopping the third person who was in the car with the two victims, Hamza Lici and Arlind Bushati.
The third person is suspected to be Ibrahim Lici.
" The Police Supervision Agency (Shkodër-Lezhë Region) has executed the detention orders set by the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of the Shkodër General Jurisdiction against 4 police officers, suspected of the criminal offense of "Abuse of duty" after they did not comply with the procedures standards of "Security of the place of the event" and accompanying for identification of persons found at the place of the event.
Inspector BK, and VL, respectively 45 and 33 years old, with the duty of the General Patrol of the Shqiponja Special Force in DVP Shkodër.
Inspector JS, and MM, respectively 31 and 33 years old with the duty of Service Corps in the Special Eagle Force in DVP Shkodër.
The prohibition order comes after the reference made by the Regional Directorate of AMP, in relation to the criminal event of October 30, in the Dobraç neighborhood of Shkodra, where unidentified persons fired at a Benz S-Class vehicle, in which was traveled by citizens HL, and AB, as well as another unidentified person." - announces AMP.
In the assassination in Dobraç, Hamza Lici and his friend in the vehicle Arlind Bushati were killed. Thus, a husband and wife couple who were traveling in a motorcycle near the victim's car at the time of the assassination also lost their lives. Due to the speed, the car hit the engine and Bashkim and Flutura Basha lost their lives.
