A 24-year-old man was arrested in Saranda, after trying to illegally transport 5 immigrants to Montenegro.
"The coded police operation "Border" is finalized. The 24-year-old was arrested for transporting 5 immigrants to illegally cross the border with Montenegro.
In handcuffs and 2 brothers, who were driving in another vehicle, in front of the vehicle where the immigrants were, to avoid the Police.
Both vehicles were seized, as well as 6 mobile phones.
During the operation, as a result of the information provided by the police intelligence, the Illegal Traffic Investigation Section of DVP Vlorë, in cooperation with the Himarë Police Station, arrested the citizens BP, 24 years old, resident of Krujë, AB, 29 years old and AB, 24 years old, both living in Tirana.
The BP citizen was caught in the act, on the "Saranda-Qeparo" road axis, transporting 5 Iranian immigrants who intended to illegally cross the border with Montenegro. Citizens AB and AB (brothers) were caught driving another vehicle, in front of the vehicle driven by citizen BP, to avoid police checks.
The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office of Vlora, for further actions", the police informs.
