The anti-drug operations are continuing in some villages of Lezha, where a total of 1213 cannabis narcotic plants have been destroyed by operation "Imazhi", in its 19th phase.
The Lezha Police, in cooperation with the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of the Lezha General Jurisdiction, continues the investigative actions, with the aim of identifying and arresting the author(s) of this criminal activity.

Intensive checks by the Lezha Police services, equipped with drones, in deep mountain villages, as part of the anti-cannabis police operation coded "Imazhi".
The 19th phase of this mega-operation is finalized.
Destroyed by burning, 1213 narcotic cannabis sativa plants that were found cultivated on the ground, in 4 different villages.
Police services of Lezha, equipped with drones, have continued intensive checks on the ground and from the air, with priority in the deep mountainous areas, with risk in terms of the cultivation of narcotic plants, in implementation of the nationwide operational plan aimed at prevention, detection and suppression of this criminal activity.
From these controls, the 19th phase of the police mega-operation coded "Imazhi" was finalized, as a result of which, 1213 cannabis sativa narcotic plants were found cultivated in forested areas, in 4 villages in Lezhë, specifically:
- in the village of Mërqi, Kallmet administrative unit, 940 suspected cannabis sativa narcotic plants were found cultivated;
- in the village of Gjobardhaj, administrative unit Ungrej, 130 suspected cannabis sativa narcotic plants were found cultivated;
-in the village of Zimaj, administrative unit Ungrej, 110 suspected cannabis sativa narcotic plants were found cultivated;
- in the mountain of Jushi, Torovicë village, Balldre administrative unit, 33 suspected cannabis sativa narcotic plants were found cultivated.
The narcotic plants, after performing the procedural actions, were destroyed by burning.
The Lezha Police, in cooperation with the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of the Lezha General Jurisdiction, continues the investigative actions, with the aim of identifying and arresting the author(s) of this criminal activity.
