Another assassination was recorded in Shkodër when a pistol was fired at the citizen Gent Larushku, who was not injured escaping the bullets.
The incident happened around 17:30 in the Vinoteka area in the Rrethina unit of Shkodër municipality.
Citizen Gent Larushku claims that he was shot by a person who was riding a bicycle in an alley near his apartment.
Immediately, the police arrived at the scene and started the investigation. The operatives interrogated the citizen Gent Larushku, who stated his version of the event.
"I was in my car near the house when a person I could not recognize because of the darkness shot me with a pistol. Fortunately, I managed to escape. He left immediately and I didn't get to know him. I don't know the reason for this incident because I don't have conflicts with anyone and I don't know who could be the author", stated Larushku, who was accompanied to the police station for further clarification.
In the meantime, the police seized the two cartridges of pistol bullets as material evidence and the vehicle in which Larushko was moving for further investigations. There are no security cameras at the scene of the shooting, so it remains difficult to identify the suspected perpetrator at the moment. Meanwhile, residents whose houses are very close to the scene of the incident declared that they heard the shots.
The reasons for this event are still unclear, while the police continue their investigations for the full disclosure and for the identification, finding and arrest of the perpetrator.
"Around 4:35 p.m., in the village of Grude e Re, an as yet unidentified citizen allegedly fired a pistol at the trunk of the vehicle of citizen GL, 35 years old, a resident of the village of Grude e Re, Shkodër.
Police services immediately went to the scene.
The investigative group, under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office, is working to clarify the circumstances of the incident, identify and arrest the perpetrator", the Police announcement states.
