Two employees of a tourist agency have been arrested after being accused of profiting 15,000 euros by defrauding customers.
The two young men, 22-year-old with initials Kleo Kariqi and 24-year-old Redi Hambari, both residents of Tirana, have been arrested for the criminal offenses "Fraud", committed in cooperation, "Hiding income" and "Non-payment of taxes". and taxes".
It is suspected that they have defrauded clients of the travel agency where they were employed.
The two employees took the money for booking round-trip tickets and hotel accommodation, but only bought the round-trip ticket to the destination.
" The Specialists of the Sector for the Investigation of Economic and Financial Crimes at the DVP Tirana, following the work to combat economic and financial crimes, have organized and finalized the police operation coded "Travel". As a result of the operation, the following citizens were detained:
KK, 22 years old, and RH, 24 years old, both residents of Tirana, for the criminal offenses "Fraud", committed in cooperation, "Concealment of income" and "Non-payment of taxes and duties", provided for by articles 143/2- 25, 180 and 181 of the Criminal Code
These citizens are suspected of defrauding clients of the travel agency where they were employed, as they took money from them for booking tickets for departure, arrival and for hotel accommodation, but only bought the ticket for the destination.
The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office. "- said the Police.
