In the studio of the show Opinion, journalist Klodiana Lala commented on the SPAK arrests and said that in this operation there is a detail related to the involvement of the State Police and criminals.
Lala said that he asked a police officer for a photo of a well-known person in the world of crime and ten minutes later the person in question contacted him and tried to put pressure on him not to write about him. According to the journalist, this case clearly shows the relationship between the police and the accused persons.
Excerpt from the interview:
Klodiana Lala: In this operation there is a detail which is the question of the involvement of the State Police and people of crime in the elections. We've seen it with 339, but cops and thugs hoarding votes for certain exponents…
Blendi Fevziu: What are all these police officers involved in criminal events that are terrible?
Klodiana Lala: Fevzi, we have talked about this several times. It happened to me a few days ago and let me make it public when I asked for the photo of a very well-known character of the world of crime who is not being talked about much today, but who I think is the key person in the disappearance of Koçoles and Sulovari in the Saranda area and also in serious events and keep this in mind and we will come back later. Ten minutes after I asked a police officer for the photo, the person contacted me and tried to pressure me not to write about it. Of course I made it clear that I will continue my work, but I want to say that you as a journalist ask for information and the confidential source that I thought alerted a person who is incriminated.
Blendi Fevziu: You asked for a confidential source and the confidential source alerted the accused person.
Klodiana Lala: His name will come out very soon. He is a person who lives in the Kamza area. It is a character that has been heard very little in the public opinion. Even when I found out about this person, I didn't believe him because he is relatively young and would go so far as to organize kidnappings, disappearances, and more, and not only those kidnappings, but also many others. I was surprised at how fast the world of crime moves and how fast they are to go and penetrate all Albanian institutions.
