A serious accident was registered this evening on the Kavajë-Durrës road axis, where a vehicle hit a pedestrian to death.
The victim has not yet been identified, while the 27-year-old driver has been taken to the police for further action.
Meanwhile, the police and the investigative group have arrived at the scene and are working to clarify the causes of the accident.
" Kavajë/Preliminary information/ On the Kavajë-Durrës road axis, a vehicle driven by citizen TS, about 27 years old, crashed into an unidentified pedestrian citizen, who died immediately at the scene.
The driver of the vehicle, citizen T. S, was escorted to the premises of the Kavaja Police Station for further action.
The investigative group is at the scene and is working to clarify the circumstances of the accident and identify the citizen who lost his life ," the police announced.
