The Special Prosecution Office has revealed new details from the investigations against State Police officer Rezart Kuçi, suspected of links to elements of organized crime and involvement in illegal activities.
According to the investigative file, the fee for using the encrypted Sky ECC application by Kuçi was paid by citizen Ervis Matodashaj, currently wanted as part of the operation against Inez Hajrulla's criminal group.
In the communications obtained by investigators, Kuçi's intervention for the renewal of the encrypted service is evidenced . "Talk to the Sky guy because it's closing today," he tells Matodashaj, who then contacts a person registered as "Service" to make the payment. "Brother, make me a 6-month offer...", writes Matodashaj, while the answer comes: "It's ready in 5 minutes."
Investigations show that Matodashaj made a payment of 1,200 euros to top up Kuçi's account on this communication platform, used for secret exchanges between persons involved in criminal activities.
SPAK emphasizes that Kuçi, in his capacity as a police officer and head of the crime department, has established stable cooperative relationships with persons involved in organized crime. According to the indictment, he has received payments and used encrypted means to exchange sensitive information, compromising his official function.
The file also mentions his involvement in providing information in exchange for benefits, as well as suspicions of involvement in drug trafficking episodes.
Conversation between them:
Rezart Kuçi: Talk to the sky guy because he's closing today
Ervis Matodashaj: I wrote to him.
And Matodashaj sends the message he sent to a registered contact named
Service: Hey bro, make me a 6-month offer to start your money with a van because I'm in Vlora
Service: 5 minutes is ready
