A road accident was recorded around midnight on Wednesday near the Milot Bridge, on the Laç-Lezha highway. Two vehicles, a Volkswagen and an Audi, were involved in the collision, leaving four people injured.
The injured were urgently transported to the Trauma Hospital in Tirana to receive the necessary medical assistance. According to preliminary data, one of them is in serious condition.
As a result of the accident, traffic on this road segment was blocked for more than 30 minutes, causing long queues of vehicles and difficulties in movement.
Police services and emergency teams immediately arrived at the scene, which intervened to manage the situation and normalize traffic. Meanwhile, the police have launched investigations to clarify the causes and circumstances of this accident.
