For several days now, Prime Minister Edi Rama has chosen a new communication strategy. Beyond the political debate, he is attempting to delegitimize the protest by identifying certain individuals, whom he presents as people with connections to foreign agencies, extremism, or interests that undermine national security.
He may be right. No one can rule out the possibility that secret services of various countries are trying to influence political developments in the Balkans. Our region has always been a terrain where geopolitical interests collide.
But this is precisely where my concern lies.
If these people are truly connected to foreign agencies, who allowed them to operate?
Who allowed them to build networks?
Who allowed them to enter protests, the media, organizations, or public life?
And above all, what have Albanian institutions done during all these years?
Because Albania is not a territory without institutions. It has the Intelligence Service, the State Police, anti-terrorism structures, the Special Prosecution Office, military intelligence, and close cooperation with NATO and Western partners.
If, however, according to the Prime Minister himself, the country has become a space where foreign agencies operate freely, then the problem is not with the protester. The problem is with the state.
A prime minister cannot use the threat of infiltration solely as a propaganda weapon against opponents. Any such statement is an indirect admission that security mechanisms have either failed or never functioned.
And if that is the case, then political responsibility stops at the Prime Minister's office.
Because Edi Rama is not a prime minister who came yesterday. He has governed Albania for more than a decade. He has appointed the heads of security institutions, has politically controlled the executive and has been primarily responsible for the functioning of the state. If today he says that foreign agencies have penetrated to the point of affecting public life and protests in Albania, then he is admitting the failure of his government in one of the most fundamental tasks of the state: the protection of sovereignty and national security.
In a democracy, national security is not a propaganda tool. It is a state responsibility. If evidence exists, it should follow the path of institutions and justice, not social media posts. If evidence does not exist, then labeling citizens as "agents," "terrorists," or "infiltrators" is a dangerous practice that poisons public debate and undermines trust in institutions.
Therefore, if the Prime Minister believes what he is publicly declaring, then it is not enough to point the finger at the protesters. He must take the responsibility that is his.
Because in any functioning democracy, when the head of government admits that the state has been unable to protect the country from the infiltration of foreign influences, the first act is not propaganda. It is political responsibility.
And political responsibility has only one name: resignation!/ Pamphlet

Kjo eshte e vërteta. Vetem dorëheqja, sepse ky eëose eshte kryeministër antishqiptar ose i pa afte te jet kryeministër.
Analize e sakte. Do te shtoja vetem diçka: Meqe ketij te gjatit te shtremet i ra goja azhentura etj etj, a i ka bere kerkese Presidentit per te mbledhur Keshill8n e Sigurise Kombetare....? Sigurisht qe as i ka bere dhe as nuk ka per tja bere dhe a e dini pse, sepse ai sebashku me banden e tij te mbetur e dine fare mire qe kjo nuk eshte çeshtje agjenturash. Po te vepronte ndryshe do alarmonte NATO-n dhe do dilte bllof, keshtuqe nuk ka kellqe ta luaje kete karte.
