Two people have been extradited from Germany and from Spain after the GJKKO imposed on them the security measure of 'prison arrest' for criminal activities carried out within the framework of 2 criminal groups.
The police informs that 33-year-old Ahmed Sultan, born in Palestine, was extradited from Frankfurt as an organizer of the passage of illegal immigrants to EU countries against payment.
Meanwhile, 31-year-old Gjergj Zefi from Durrës was extradited from Barcelona, accused of selling and trafficking narcotics.
"A 33-year-old man born in Palestine was extradited from Frankfurt, accused of being the organizer of several cases of providing aid to immigrants, against 4,500-5,000 euros/person, for illegal passage to EU countries, by sea and by land.
A 31-year-old Albanian was extradited from Barcelona, accused of selling and trafficking narcotics.
As a result of the cooperation of the Interpol Tirana with the German and Spanish counterparts, in order to locate, arrest and extradite the citizens announced as international wanted:
- was extradited from Frankfurt, citizen born in Palestine AS, 33 years old. The Special Court against Corruption and Organized Crime has assigned to the 33-year-old, the security measure "Arrest in prison", for the criminal offenses "Aiding for illegal border crossing", "Structured criminal group" and "Committing criminal offences". from criminal organizations and organized criminal groups". The AS citizen is accused of being the organizer of a criminal group, which from 2020, has carried out several cases of providing assistance to immigrants from the Middle East, against 4500-5000 euros/person, for illegal passage to EU countries, through maritime and land routes;
- was extradited from Barcelona, citizen Gj. Mr., 31 years old, born in Sukth. The Special Court against Corruption and Organized Crime has assigned to the 31-year-old, the security measure "Arrest in prison", for the criminal offenses "Production and sale of narcotics", "Structured criminal group" and "Commitment of criminal offenses by criminal organization and structured criminal group". Citizen G. Mr. is accused of being part of a criminal group that kept, transported, sold and trafficked narcotics.
The extradited were handed over to the General Directorate of Prisons, for further procedural actions" , the police announced.
