The Court of Durrës has set the security measure "Remand in prison for a term" for the driver of the vehicle that hit the police officer who was crossing the white lines.
After the arrest by the police, the court has assigned the security measure "arrest in prison for a period of 45 days" to Antonio Frroku.
Police officer Mariglen Allka was hit by a speeding vehicle on "Aleksandër Goga" street on the evening of November 30, around 6:35 p.m., in neighborhood no. 8, in front of the building of the Durrës Police Local Directorate.
The vehicle driven by citizen A. Frroku hit the police officer when he was crossing the white lines.
Frroku is suspected of committing the criminal offense provided for by Article 290/2 of the Criminal Code. If he is found guilty of this charge, which consists of violating traffic rules resulting in serious injury to a person, he risks being sentenced to one to five years in prison.
