A 27-year-old man has been arrested by the police after being accused of shooting a person a year ago, leaving him injured.
According to the police, the arrested person is Kelmend Beqaj, a resident of Fier, who had been wanted for a long time.
According to the investigation, the incident occurred on January 5, 2025, when the 27-year-old, for weak motives, fired a gun at citizen GH, 42 years old, and then left the scene.
In this case, the Court has imposed the security measure "Arrest in prison" on him, for the criminal offenses of "Intentional Murder", which remains in the attempted stage, and "Unlicensed Production and Possession of Weapons, Explosive Weapons and Ammunition".

Specialists for the Investigation of Serious Crimes at the Fier Police Department made it possible to detain citizen KB, 27 years old, resident of Fier, previously declared wanted.
The investigation shows that this citizen, on 05.01.2025, for weak motives, shot citizen GH, 42 years old, and then left the scene.
In this case, the Court has set the security measure "Arrest with imprisonment", for the criminal offenses "Intentional murder", which remains in the attempted stage, and "Unlicensed production and possession of weapons, explosive weapons and ammunition". The citizen KB was detained in Kakavija by the Border Police services. The procedural materials were referred to the Fier Prosecutor's Office for further action," the police announced.
