The Korça Court has ordered the security measure "arrest in prison" for Nikolla Agolli and David Prifti, arrested in connection with the injury of 35-year-old Brian Syzo, an event that occurred a few days ago in Pogradec.
The court session lasted about two hours and began at 11:00 a.m. At the end of the hearing, the court deemed the arrest of Nikolla Agolli, suspected of being the perpetrator of the injury, as well as David Prifti, suspected of being an accomplice, lawful, imposing the security measure "arrest in prison" on both of them.
According to preliminary investigations, immediately after Brian Syzos was injured, the suspected perpetrator and the three people who were with him left the scene. They abandoned the vehicle in the Qafë Thana area and then dispersed in different directions.
Nikolla Agolli was located and arrested a few minutes after the incident, while traveling in a van in the Prrenjas area. David Prifti was also arrested later.
Based on the investigation's findings so far, it is suspected that the perpetrator's objective was to kill Brian Syzos, due to ongoing conflicts between the parties. Investigations to fully clarify the circumstances of the incident are ongoing.
