The Police Surveillance Agency, under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of the General Jurisdiction in Tirana, is carrying out all the necessary procedural investigative actions, including the inspection and analysis of film footage of the scene, in order to evidence and verify the proportionality of police actions, if they have exceeded the necessary protection.
From the investigations so far, it results that during the execution of the police actions, with the aim of arresting the suspected persons, the Police officers have called on the suspected persons several times to stop the attempts to leave and in the conditions when the driver of the vehicle has not obeyed , performing maneuvers with high risk for the lives of Police officers, firearms were used to neutralize the vehicle.
Due to the intense actions of the police officers and the erratic movements of the vehicle, the shell of the gun pierced the driver's side of the door, and as a result the ES citizen was injured, who is under the care of doctors at the Trauma Hospital. , out of danger to life.
Regarding the incident, the Police Surveillance Agency has arrested three citizens, with the initials ES, SH.O., IB, as well as the citizen MH, as a suspect for the criminal offenses "Production and sale of narcotics". "Opposition to the police officer" and "Disobedience to the police officer".
Investigations continue to fully clarify the circumstances of the event.
