Tirana Police Director Tonin Vocaj issued a statement to the media regarding the double injury that occurred at "Don Bosko" at noon today.
He said that the police are working to seize the security cameras in the entire area, while stating that a burned vehicle was found which is suspected to have been used by the perpetrators.
7 cartridges from a firearm were found at the scene, but the type of weapon that was shot at 2 people has not yet been determined. A firearm was also found in the vehicle and is being examined.
According to Vocaj, the assassination is suspected to have been carried out by 3 people, including the car driver.
"We are checking throughout the area for business and public security cameras. In the territory of police station No. 5, a burned vehicle was found, which is compatible with the one used by the perpetrators, the license plates were identified as not stolen, but the chassis number does not match the original vehicle. Investigations into this matter continue, 7 cartridges from a firearm have been seized. We have not yet determined the type of this weapon. A firearm was found in the vehicle and is being examined," Vocaj said.
