A person was injured with a knife in a bar in Berat, while the police are pursuing the suspected perpetrator of the incident.
The stabbing attack took place in the "Çelepias" neighborhood. The suspected perpetrator, Asllan Fatiu, entered the bar and stabbed an 85-year-old citizen in the stomach.
The injured person was transported to the Berat Regional Hospital, while the perpetrator left the scene.
"Around 19:00, in the Çelepias neighborhood, Berat, in the premises of a bar, it is suspected that for weak motives, citizen AF, 37 years old, injured citizen TB, 85 years old, who is in the hospital, with a cutting tool (knife).
"Police services are at the scene and continue combing the area to apprehend the suspected perpetrator," the Police announced.
